Step by Step Maintenance View Creation
Maintenance View - This view is used to for data manipulation like insert, update, delete, modify etc. Data from several tables can be summarized in a maintenance view and maintained collectively via this view. That is the data is entered via the view and then distributed to the underlying tables by the system
1) Go to TCode SE11. Select radio button view and enter name of view. Click on
button.
2) Choose the view type as Maintenance View and Press
button.
3) Provide the short text and in the Tables section provide the table and click on the
Button.


4) Select the combination and click on
Button.


5)The Join condition is automatically field based on the two table matching fields.
6) Click on View Field tab.
7) Click on the Table Fields.
8) Select the first table and click on the
Button.
9) Select the required fields from the table to add it in the View and click on the COPY Button.
10) All the fields from table are added to the Maintenance View.
11)Click on the Maintenance Status Tab and select the appropriate Radio Button and activate the View.
12)Now save the view by pressing
button present in standard tool bar. Then activate the view with
present in application tool bar.

13) To Create the Table Maintenance, Click on Utilities and then click on Table Maintenance Generator.
14 )Provide the details and click on the Find Scr. Number(s) Button.
15) Select the First Radio Button and then click on the
button.
16) Now go to TCODE-SM30 and provide the Maintenance View name and click on Maintain button.

17) It shows the data from two tables and here you can create new entries, modify existing entries and delete Entries.
